Mr. Burnett is a San Francisco-based Partner and active member of the Board of Directors of Korfmann Burnett & Partners. He is also affiliated with the Greenwich-based firm of RSR Partners. Mr. Burnett was previously Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Secura Burnett Company, an international retained executive search firm for senior level executives. Before getting into the executive search business, Mr. Burnett spent a total of 20 years in banking with Wells Fargo Bank and Union Bank, and subsequently as CEO of a successfully restructured U.S. west coast bank.

Mr. Burnett has served on a number of boards in the U.S. and Europe including The Hertz Corporation (Park Ridge, NJ), Exigen (San Francisco and Moscow), The Secura Group (Washington, D.C.), Landmine Survivors Network (Washington, D.C. and Geneva), and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation (Bethesda, MD) as well as on the boards of several other not-for-profit organizations. He was also a Director of the University of California (Davis) Graduate School of Management.

A graduate of the California State University system, Mr. Burnett attended the Stanford Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management and Wilton Park, a foreign policy school in England.
