Korfmann Burnett & Partners was founded in Zurich in December 1997 by Dr. iur. K.C. Korfmann and Louis C. Burnett, who were committed to the idea of a small, international executive search firm to serve the specific human resource needs of the financial services sector in Europe. We realized that being independent would allow us to be more strategic, flexible and advisory driven. The initial success of our model has enabled Korfmann Burnett & Partners to extend its focus to clients in other industry sectors.

The goal of Korfmann Burnett & Partners is to create significant value for our clients by leveraging our diverse experience, markets knowledge and networks of professionals.

Korfmann Burnett & Partners works in cooperation with Schwesinger+ Cie, one of Germany's preeminent executive search firms. Before Dr. Schwesinger founded her own company she worked with large international search firms, such as Russell Reynolds Associates and Spencer Stuart. Heike Schwesinger sits on the board of several Not-for-Profit organizations.

Korfmann Burnett & Partners also works in cooperation with Oliver Stanley Partners LLP, a specialized family office executive search firm in London. Prior to setting-up Oliver Stanley Partners Oliver was the founding partner of Armstrong where he worked alongside Martin Armstrong for 18 years.
